We also collect non-personally identifiable information automatically through cookies and analytics tools, as described below.
2. Use of Analytics
Our website uses Plausible Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement and Google Analytics for additional usage analysis. Plausible runs for all visits without cookies or persistent identifiers and reports aggregate metrics such as page views, daily unique visitors, referral sources, device types, and country, region, and city. Google Analytics loads only when the browser contains an accepted analytics-consent preference.
When analytics consent is present, assessment events may include your score, maturity level, dimension scores, and optional role, organization-size, and industry context. We use this information to understand assessment usage and improve our services.
When optional chatbot quality measurement is enabled, browser analytics may record aggregate events such as whether a request completed, a broad latency range, whether feedback was helpful, or whether a contact handoff was prepared. These events use broad page categories and do not include chat prompts or responses, discovery answers, names, email addresses, contact-draft content, session identifiers, request identifiers, IP-address hashes, or exact page paths.
The chatbot service may also create aggregate technical records needed to measure reliability, such as request outcome, broad latency range, response mode, retry count, citation-source count, and whether an opportunity brief completed. These records do not include conversation content or stable visitor identifiers and are separate from consent-gated browser analytics.
Both services use IP addresses at collection time for functions including coarse geolocation. Google Analytics states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses from visitors in the EU, Switzerland, or the UK; its handling of IP addresses for visitors elsewhere is described in its regional documentation. Plausible derives daily aggregate visitor and location information, does not store raw IP addresses or full user-agent data, and deletes the daily salt used for visitor counting every 24 hours. 3. Use of Cookies
Google Analytics cookies and tracking are consent-gated. Plausible does not use cookies, browser storage, or persistent identifiers and runs independently of your Google Analytics preference. You may use browser settings or content-blocking tools to block analytics requests and remove cookies or stored site preferences.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect contact submissions and assessment report requests from automated abuse. Turnstile may process network, browser, and device information needed to determine whether a request is legitimate, as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit via our contact form to respond to your inquiries and provide information about our services.
When you request an assessment report, we use your email address, results, and optional context to deliver the report. A copy is sent to Velocity Advisors so we can maintain the requested report and respond if you contact us about it. If you leave follow-up permission enabled, we may contact you about your results and relevant ways we can help. You can turn this permission off before submitting or withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use service providers, including our email and analytics providers, to operate the website and process information on our behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Chatbot quality telemetry is retained for no more than 90 days. We do not use this telemetry to retain or reconstruct chatbot conversation content.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. International Users
Our website is intended for use in the United States. While we do not actively target individuals in the EU or California, visitors from these regions may access the site. If you are located outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
